The company was founded in 1993 in Sofia by a team with academic background and long experience in pharmaceutical and chemical engineering, in the research, development and clinical testing of medicinal products and with a deep understanding of the needs of people for quality healthcare services. This is ensured by more than 150 qualified employees whose loyalty, collegiality, dedication and commitment define the team as Chemax Pharma’s most important investment.
The company has its own production facilities, possesses the necessary production capacity, as well as a flexible workflow organization, which guarantees 100% realization of deliveries within the agreed deadlines and quantities.
All necessary raw materials come from certified manufacturers and undergo strict incoming quality control in the company’s own laboratory. The standards of good manufacturing practice are strictly applied in the production in accordance with the requirements of the Bulgarian legislation and respectively in accordance with the regulatory requirements of the European Union. The company was among the first Bulgarian manufacturers to obtain a manufacturing authorization under the European format and is included in the list of licensed European manufacturers of medicinal products in the European Medicines Agency (EMEA) registers.
