Treatment of respiratory tract diseases due to increased formation and difficult expectoration of bronchial secretions, such as acute and chronic bronchitis (inflammation of the bronchi), bronchiectasis (the walls of the bronchi are thickened), chronic obstructive lung disease (protracted lung disease characterized by cough, production of large amount of sputum and difficulty breathing), mucoviscidosis (congenital disease associated with formation of thick secretion in the lungs and other organs).
